B&S Blue Label Tenor Sax

Dear Sir!

My son is fond of saxophone. He has a wonderful silver-plated blue label B&S tenor poem. As I may suppose it has produced sometime in the middle (?) of the seventies. Its serial number is 6898, MADE IN GDR.

I hope You can tell me its birthday approximately.
